LevelTen Energy has secured an investment from ABB Electrification Ventures, the venture capital arm of ABB’s electrification business, amid massive demand for its clean energy procurement platform from buyers, sellers, advisors, and financiers in the green energy economy around the world.
With this latest investment, ABB Electrification Ventures has invested more than $110 million in 18 green tech startups since 2021.
LevelTen Energy experiences high demand across North America and Europe driven by corporate net-zero targets and power-hungry artificial intelligence data centers. Switzerland-based startup LevelTen Energy confirmed that it had facilitated more than 20 GW of clean energy procurement to date across North America and Europe on behalf of a wide range of clients, including hyperscalers, commercial and industrial companies, and utilities.
LevelTen Energy secures funding at a time when businesses worldwide are facing increasing pressure to decarbonize operations; securing access to reliable, affordable clean electricity has become one of the most complex challenges on the path to net zero.
Green tech startups have attracted billions of dollars VC funding in 2026. More recently, Antora Energy secured a $550 million Series C funding round to accelerate the deployment of large-scale thermal battery storage solutions across the U.S.
In another deal, Samsung-Backed Alva Industries, a Norway-based deep-tech startup developing ultra-compact, high-performance electric motors, bagged €16 million in equity funding. The round was co-led by Nysnø Climate Investments, Sandwater and Emerald Technology Ventures, on behalf of Nabtesco Technology Ventures, with participation from existing investors including Statkraft Ventures and EnvisionTech.
Samsung made a multi-million-euro investment through Samsung Ventures in December 2025.
